Participación de GELOCA en el XLII Congreso Nacional de la SEIO en Santiago de Compostela

Del 2 al 5 de septiembre se ha celebrado en Santiago de Compostela el XLII Congreso Nacional de Estadística, Investigación Operativa y Ciencia de Datos. La presencia del grupo de trabajo GELOCA ha sido especialmente destacada en esta edición, organizada en torno a 5 sesiones temáticas y con la presentación de 25 trabajos de investigación por parte de sus miembros.

Estos datos ponen de manifiesto la intensa actividad del grupo y el compromiso de sus integrantes con la investigación en optimización, localización y rutas. Desde la coordinación de GELOCA queremos agradecer a todos los miembros su participación y felicitarles por las excelentes contribuciones presentadas durante el congreso.

From September 2 to 5, the XLII National Congress of Statistics, Operations Research and Data Science was held in Santiago de Compostela. The presence of the GELOCA working group has been especially remarkable in this edition, organized around 5 thematic sessions and with the presentation of 25 research papers by its members.

These data highlight the intense activity of the group and the commitment of its members to research in optimization, location, and routing. From the GELOCA coordination, we want to thank all members for their participation and congratulate them on the excellent contributions presented during the congress.

Closing IWOLOCA XIII and presentation of IWOLOCA XIV (jointly organized with the 30th EWGLA meeting)

The XXX Meeting of EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis will take place in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain) from 17 to 19 September 2025. This is a periodic meeting of EWGLA which gathers researchers focused on Locational Analysis and its applications. Theoretical contributions (concepts, methods, etc.), applied research, and presentations of software, are welcome. Communications, discussions or surveys on new applications, open problems, connections between the field of location theory and related areas are of interest.
